Janice and I cannot begin to say how happy we are with our experience with SkyLux Homes Limited. From the very first meeting with Sean through to us getting our occupancy permit, Sean and his team were amazing and went out of their way to assist and add value through the entire building process. We never felt forced or pressured into making decisions, but were encouraged to make decisions about our home that we would enjoy for many years.

There were numerous occasions where Sean and his team put in extra time and effort to ensure that Janice and I were satisfied. Seeing our home come to life has been an exciting project for us, and we were extremely pleased with the prompt attention to every level of detail shown by our superintendent (Anthony). Sean and his SkyLux Home group have gone above and beyond with their knowledge of the building code, application of leading edge building standards, providing guidance for the subs, answering our questions, and just making the building process stress free and exciting. From start to finish, this has been an enjoyable project, thanks to Sean and the rest of the SkyLux team; our completed home far exceeds what we had envisioned while designing it.

If we had to single out one reason why we would recommend SkyLux Homes Limited in the future, I would have to group some thoughts together and say it is their attention to detail, the unwavering commitment for doing it right, and in providing the highest standards in quality and professional services.

Big Thanks for Rescuing My House

"I owe SkyLux a big thanks for rescuing my house from a very poor renovation that was left unfinished and much of the work not to code; the District threatened to put a Notice of Contravention on my property title. The next year was a bad time in my life. I had paid a lot to the first contractor but they did not finish the renovation, they did not build the architects design, and there were many unrepaired deficiencies. Fortunately, Sean Huson and his SkyLux crew were willing to make things right. SkyLux demolished the shoddy work by the first contractor, which revealed more deficiencies including building over dry rot and several other structural problems. They then rebuilt the house skillfully following the architect’s plan, which the first contractor said was not practical. Now I have a dream home rather than an eyesore. I only wish I had hired SkyLux first!"
